The last couple of weekends my wife and I have put on hubs, new rims and sticky new tires (cha ching). What they say about owning a British car is true, they are always a project. The race shop at the airport looked amazing, lots of toys that is for sure. This is the prefect time of the year to drive these cars around the gorge.

I wouldn’t want to do it again but losing a wheel was fairly uneventful, the car dropped 4.5” and rode on the brake rotor. I knew the hubs were bad but I didn’t know they were that bad. The moral of the story: if you want new hubs, new rims and new tires make sure the wife is in the car when a wheel falls off! The wife instantly approved the expense!
